Quick Promotion for Law & Order SVU
This motion graphic was created to demonstrate what a quick advertisement for, Law & Order Special Victims Unit potentially could look like. I enjoy this show and have watched it for years, so I chose to do a few pieces based on it. I incorporated the lines that underline the title of the show. I brought these lines to life, which help demonstrate a way that could modernize advertisement for the historic show. This was done using Adobe After Effects.
Timetable Promotion for Law & Order SVU
This piece was created to advertise when new episodes of the show air. Since the show has new episodes every week, it is a very important aspect to advertise. I used the lines from the logo which fade in and then progress up and down the screen. These lines are followed by a black box, which expands past the lines. The piece ends with the lines and the box coming together once again and fading away. This whole process is eye catching, but not distracting. This was done using Adobe After Effects.
Teaser Transition for Law & Order SVU
I created this motion graphic to help separate the ending credits of the current episode from the teaser for next week’s episode. This transition helps to add suspense, while also providing a break for the viewer. This show is based heavily around emotion, which is why a break is useful to help end the current episode calmly and let all of the viewer’s emotions rest with ease. I incorporated the lines from the logo, which move with every word. Near the end, everything comes together; just like the show. This was done using Adobe After Effects.
Trailer for Seeking The Still
A foundation called Seeking The Still requested my assistance in the creation for a trailer that well represented their YouTube channel and branding. This trailer was completed over a period of three months and it was created using Adobe After Effects. The footage was provided by the foundation and so was the information.
Title Sequence for The Conjuring
This is a title sequence that I created for the film, The Conjuring. This title sequence is meant to demonstrate what a potential title sequence may look like for the film. I used various aspects from the movie to create this sequence. I recorded new footage that was based on the original. The theme for this piece was to make things appear scary that aren’t actually scary. This creates even more suspense for the film because nothing scary happens in the title sequence, even though it leads the viewer to think something will. This was shot by me and edited using Adobe After Effects.
