Lindenlink Covers
I created this cover image for Lindenlink (Student Media at Lindenwood University). This image was created using their iconic colors combined with modern and clean aesthetics. This cover image can be found at the top of Lindenlink.com, and Lindenlink’s Facebook and Twitter pages. The image was created using Adobe Illustrator.
The Obsessive Conference
The Obsessive Conference is an event that I prototyped and created branding for. This event would focus on educating the general public about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. For this event, I created a poster, ticket, logo and a website mockup. These were all created with a combination of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
The Firm Poster
This poster was created for The Firm (at Lindenwood University). They requested a poster that would clearly and simply inform future clients of the services provided by them. It was also critical to have their fonts and colors included in the design. This poster was created using Adobe InDesign.
The Firm Logo Redesign
These logos were designed as my contribution to The Firm’s (at Lindenwood University) logo redesign project. I demonstrated the fun and exciting nature of The Firm, without the logos being too literal. This combined with clean and modern elements, delivers a very powerful logo. These designs were created using Adobe Illustrator.
Health and Wellness Logo
This logo was created for one of my clients. She requested a logo that would represent her health and wellness brand. I incorporated foliage along with mountains to create her desired look. This was then wrapped in a dark gold to emphasize beauty. This logo is currently being used on her YouTube channel. It was created using Adobe Illustrator.
Crimson Transport Logo
I was asked to create a logo to represent a new shipping company, called Crimson Transport. I wanted to demonstrate movement within the logo without it being literal. This was combined with clean and modern elements that delivered a very powerful logo. The designs were created using Adobe Illustrator.
The Firm Brochure
This is a brochure that I created for The Firm (at Lindenwood University). This project was part of their rebranding process. This piece required an immense amount of organizing. There was a lot of information and images that had to be displayed. I chose to organize it by sections and to integrate colors from the logo, in order to tie the piece together with the logo itself. The end product was clean and spacious without being overwhelming. This was created using Adobe InDesign.
Kitchen Model
This is a 3D model of a kitchen that was created using 3DS Max. It is met to look realistic, while also looking cartoonish. The kitchen is infused with all sorts of small details that help make it unique within itself. This piece is finalized; however, I did have several practice designs.
Winter Party Poster
I created this poster for The Firm’s (at Lindenwood University) winter party. The objective was to create a clean and well laid out poster that focused on winter and not Christmas. With these guidelines, I decided to use a light blue background with snowflakes along with white text. These elements worked very well together and led to a very clean and cohesive piece. The Firm liked this design very much and used it for their winter party advertisement. This was created using Adobe InDesign.
Menu Redesign
I was assigned the task to redesign a menu for a restaurant. I chose to redesign Bob Evan’s menu, because their menu featured beautifully taken images of their food. I decided to simplify their menu and to modernize it. I did this by incorporating fewer images, lessening text and shortening descriptions. This piece was used as a demonstration of skill for Lindenwood University. This project was created using Adobe InDesign.
Adobe Certifications Poster
This poster was created to promote the Adobe Certifications that Lindenwood University offers free to students. I designed this poster to be bold and captivating, while still being easy to read. I used a color palette that was created based on the softwares that certifications were offered for. This was designed using Adobe InDesign.
The Cappuccino
This project is one of my favorite designs using, Adobe Illustrator. The Cappuccino was created using shapes and gradient mesh within the program. Gradient mesh was used to help blend together colors, and to create shadows that add depth to my design. I focused a lot of my attention on creating a coffee cup that was realistic, while also looking drawn. This was created using Adobe Illustrator.
The Lindenwood LARC
This is one of my favorite projects that I have ever created using, Adobe Illustrator. The building that you see below, is the library at Lindenwood University. While designing this project, I was only allowed to use the program's shape tool. After placing each and every shape, I transformed the shapes into what I wanted. I focused solely on how clean the line work was from point to point. This project was done using Adobe Illustrator. (Created from reference image by Blanton Construction)
Paper Doll
This is Jason, the paper doll. As you can see, he is pretty stylish and his clothes have a lot of unique details within them. This project focused mainly on layers within Adobe Illustrator. The main aspect of paper dolls, is their ability to change outfits easily. This is the same concept with Jason. Within the application, you are able to remove and add his outfits by using layers. This project was done in Adobe Illustrator.
Two Lovers
Two Lovers is my favorite painting that I have ever done. This piece in its own unique way, gives the viewer a sense of passion between the two figures. All of the different blends that I included in this piece, just add to the feeling of joy and undoubtable happiness. I also strived to have a great sense of balance between the figures and the blended background. It was created using Corel Painter.
The Abyss
The Abyss is my most unique piece. While painting it, I kept striving to make it different than all of my other pieces. This was a success, because I made it unique in terms of color, design and even subject. The Abyss is meant to demonstrate surrealism, and it is intended to cause the viewer to think different. It was created using Corel Painter.
